We want to thank Village Soup, with whom we collaborated, for their superb publicity. The folks there also contributed mightily to the Silent Auction by asking merchants for donations.

We want to thank those who contributed goods and services to the Silent Auction which is the big fundraiser of the evening. Over 100 stores and individuals made the Silent Auction look big, which it truly was.

Thank you to the Samoset Resort for contributing the two large rooms which made the flow for people so easy. Connie Russell and his staff stayed right on top of requests from the Best of the Best management.

Stan Catell and his Band were one of the hits of the evening. Believe it or not, I heard several people say they came to the Best of the Best just to hear the band! They are so talented!

But, it's the people who make a party! Always! And so many showed up - more than in any other year. We had families there, people from outside the county and so many right near by. Thank you all for coming and making this the best party ever, whose purpose is to benefit United Mid-Coast Charities.

Many people who need help and assistance will benefit from all that everyone gave to this great celebration.
