With some charitable organizations, you walk away not knowing exactly how your money gets distributed. How much of it goes to a worthy agency? How much gets earmarked for administrative costs? United Mid-Coast Charities offers the charitable donor a significant benefit: the assurance that your money provides the greatest possible help to the community. UMCC's Officers and Directors are committed to an ongoing screening and evaluation process to provide the fairest possible distribution to organizations currently on our roster. All contributions are 100 percent distributed; administrative expenses are completely covered by an endowment fund set up specifically for that purpose.

With a single donation, your funds will reach out to a large number of local worthy agencies, 60, in fact, from the Freedom Riders to the Community School; from Meals on Wheels to the Waldo County YMCA.
